We had a lovely little room with a fantastic view of the mountains (which we requested). The room had a small fridge, dishwasher and 2 hot plates for cooking. The room was very clean and bed extremely comfortable. Keep in mind the room is very small with a good size flat screen tv. There is a gourmet market place in town to purchase great seafood, fruits and vegies. I recommend cooking a great meal then going out for drink in the village to save money. The dishwasher does all the cleaning up! The heated outdoor pool and 2 jacuzzis were great. From one of the jacuzzis you can see the beautiful mountains in the background.
No 'real' milk in the fridge for coffee, only powdered creamers. No hair conditioners or shampoo in the bathroom. We stayed 2 nights and no room service was provided to remove the rubbish or do a bit of a tidy up service which hotels normally provide. You need to pay $16 for parking each day.
The hotel staff were friendly and very accomodating. I loved the pool; it was a good size and very well maintained. I stayed with my mother and enjoyed the 2 bedroom suite, as it provided privacy and also common space.
i was surperise the way they make you sign your life away when i arrived , i signed at least 4 sheets , smoking ,noise , parking , ... and the staff werent even that friendly about it.the room too was very small and has no space at all , one of the elevators was broke the whole time i was there
got the staff to smile more
Close to village stroll but a lot cheaper and quieter. Bedding was comfortable.
1 of 2 elevators was broken the entire weekend. Made getting to and from your room a nightmare. Parking was a battle to find a spot even though you paid $15 per night. Coffee maker in my room was broken. Must store skis in shop next to lobby. That's ok but the shop was understaffed so it always took a long time to drop off / pick up skis. Front desk personnel were typical Australian resort slaves who seemed to just barely able to disguise their disdain for tourists.
good location to village and slopes
room pretty small (smaller than our New York hotel) and bed was very uncomfortable. also need more or larger hot tubs
Very good hotel. Perfect Location, very good room and facilities.
Some hooks in the room would be great
The hotel is nice and quiet and a short walk from the village stroll. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and courteous.
Unfortunately one of the hot tubs was being serviced
Good facility and great location!
Some negative comments referred to trash in the hallway. The staff is very explicit that there is no trash service - it goes outside in the dumpster! There was no problem!
We had a wonderful stay at the Cascade Lodge and highly recommended to everyone. It has a great location and good amenities. The staff were pleasant and very accomodating.
The location was perfect, the atmosphere was very laid back, there was a pool outside with 2 hot tubs, the rooms were very comfortable, overall a very good place to spend a getaway.
Very comfortable bed! Great location. Loved the pool and pool deck, beautiful!
Stove top took forever to heat up! We like to cook our own breakfast and it was such a hassle.
Convenient and very close to village. Large pool. Could be abit warmer. Close to grocery and other shopping. Rooms are spacious.
The closeness to everything and the pool and parking facilities were great.
The air conditioning was a little loud .
The 1 bedroom apartment was a good size with all the mod cons, good sized kitchen and flat screen tv with huge channel selection. We had lovely views looking up to Blackcomb mountain and surrounding mountains. Just a stroll across the road to the main Village area and also walking distance to two foodmarkets. Had a Lovely relaxing stay.
Only dissapointment was the room cleanliness was not of a high standard.
